Dan Nicholson, designed and built this biped robot powered by a Raspberry Pi and Arduino platforms using Python and C++.
He reportedly started on this project with a dual purpose: to construct a captivating bipedal robot and to create a platform for others to experiment with at home. Irrespective of your experience level in robotics—whether you’re new or a seasoned robotics expert—this project is designed to be a canvas for exploration and expansion. It boasts modularity along with integrating various systems and components. While the first version of the robot served as a proof of concept, and the second exhibited greater sophistication with some stability issues, the current version has solved many of the stability issues.
