The Perg factory site in Upper Austria witnessed the installation of a state-of-the-art, highly automated hollow-core slab production line within an 11-month timeframe. This new addition to the facility reflects HABAU’s responsiveness to its growing building projects and aims to elevate its capacities from the current 70 – 80,000 sqm to approximately 100,000 sqm. The inauguration of the new plant technology took place on June 14th, 2023, marking a milestone in HABAU’s expansion journey.

This agile solution outperforms conventional transport cars, offering seamless rail and road maneuverability. Its versatile design accommodates curved rail paths and heavy loads of up to 300 t.
