Geek+, a provider of robotic solutions for logistics, has announced they have joined forces with Hongkong Post to implement their robotic package sorting system. By combining Geek+’s sorting and moving solutions with Hongkong Post’s project team’s expertise, this sortation technology will reportedly lead to enhanced efficiency in mail handling.
Geek+’s proprietary sorting and moving robots have provided Hongkong Post with the ability to streamline their workflow, achieving efficiency and accuracy in comparison to traditional manual sorting methods, which tend to be labor-intensive. The robotic system boasts a sorting capacity of up to 1,000 packets per hour, significantly increasing efficiency and output from the reported current manual method.
