Neura Robotics GmbH, a German-based AI and robotics startup, announced the successful completion of its latest funding round, securing $55 million. The funding was led by European investors, including Lingotto (a subsidiary of Exor N.V.), Vsquared Ventures, Primepulse, and HV Capital.
Neura Robotics and MAiRA
Over the course of three years, Neura Robotics has emerged as a pioneer in the field of cognitive robotics. Neura Robotics introduced MAiRA, a market-ready cognitive cobot, shortly after its founding.
MAiRA is an autonomous robot with perceptual capabilities, enabling it to interact with its environment and people. This integrated approach allows their partners to collaboratively develop applications for diverse sectors, spanning industries, service sectors, and households.
Scaling Up for Global Reach
With this successful funding round, Neura Robotics plans to expand its presence in key international markets, including the United States and Japan. This move will enable them to leverage new opportunities and establish partnerships on a global scale. Additionally, they plan on building out their production infrastructure in Germany to accommodate the growing demand reflected in their open orders of approximately $450M.
